Rebekka Takamizu is a multimedia designer and musician based in Los Angeles. Currently, Takamizu is a in-house designer at one of California's premier cultural and research institutions, The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.
Previously, Takamizu was at the TEA-awarded agency, BRC Imagination Arts. While there, she designed environmental and wayfinding graphics as well as presentations for many clients. Takamizu was also a full-time designer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where she spent her days designing the top-tier business school’s marketing and communications. After completing her design degree from Illinois Institute of Art, Takamizu spent a year apprenticing at two of Chicago’s most prestigious and innovative firms, Thirst and Grip.
In addition, Takamizu has a Bachelor of Music from the Berklee College of Music and is an accomplished musician having twice performed classical selections for piano at Carnegie Hall – Weill Hall. Her musical talents have taken her on tour across Europe, Canada and the United States in various venues and ensembles. A multi-instrumentalist, her instruments include the piano, guitar, bass guitar, and voice.
